Denver Women’s Basketball Welcomes Loyola Marymount Tuesday

The Pioneers wrap-up a season-opening three-game homestand on Tuesday at 6 p.m. MT

DENVER  – The University of Denver women's basketball program will close out a three-game homestand and play the middle home game in a stretch of five of six at home to start the season when the Pioneers welcome Loyola Marymount to Hamilton Gymnasium on Tuesday at 6 p.m. MT. The game will be broadcast live on Evoca TV and Pioneer Vision.

SERIES HISTORY:
Denver holds a 4-0 lead in the series, with the two programs last meeting nearly four years ago in December, 2018. The two programs first met in the Pioneers first year in Division I. The first two meetings were one-possession games with the Pioneers taking a three-point victory in Los Angeles, 13 months before a one-point win in Denver. In the aforementioned 2018 meeting, Denver won 104-75, the Pioneers biggest win in the series.
 
LAST TIME OUT:
The Pioneers hit 10 triples, including four in the third-quarter to try to kickstart their comeback, but Northern Colorado came away with an 11-point win on Friday night in Hamilton Gymnasium.
