OMAHA, NE --The Denver volleyball team took the first set, but couldn't hold on and lost 3-1 (25-17, 13-25, 11-25, 10-25) to the Omaha Mavericks Saturday on the road at Baxter Arena.
The loss dropped Denver's record to 18-11 overall and 12-6 in Summit play.
Jordan Lockwood finished with nine kills on the day to lead the Pioneers attack. got 14 digs from Emma Ziegler to lead them defensively.
