Pios Host North Dakota for National Girls & Women in Sports Night

Denver begins a stretch of five of its final seven games at home to finish the regular season

DENVER  – The University of Denver women's basketball team open a Summit League home weekend on Thursday when the Pioneers host North Dakota at 7 p.m. MT. Thursday's game serves as National Girls & Women in Sports Night, sponsored by Safeway.

Who: Denver (7-15, 2-9 Summit) vs. North Dakota (12-10, 6-5 Summit)
What: Game 23 of the 2021-22 Season
Where: Hamilton Gymnasium (Denver, Colo.)
When: February 3, 2022 – 7 p.m. MT
 
Last Time Out:
Meghan Boyd netted 27 points, a shooting performance that included seven triples, in Denver's 69-64 overtime win over Oral Roberts on Saturday afternoon in Tulsa. FULL RECAP
 
Series History:
The Pioneers are 4-4 all-time against North Dakota, dropping the series finale a season ago and the first meeting between the two teams this season in Fargo. Denver is 2-0 in overtime against the Fighting Hawks (2019 and 2021).
