DENVER – The [11/12] University of Denver men's lacrosse program, presented by Your Hometown Toyota Stores, will head to the east coast for the first time this weekend when the Pioneers travel to [7/8] Duke on Saturday. The faceoff at Koskinen Stadium is set for 12 p.m. ET/10 a.m. MT, and the game will be broadcast on ACC Network Xtra.

JJ Sillstrop netted four goals for the second-straight game to lead the Pioneers past I-25 neighbors Air Force on Saturday afternoon in Denver's home opener at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium.

DI Series History vs. Duke
The Pioneers are 6-9 all-time against the Blue Devils, including 4-6 in the last 10. Duke has won the last four meetings in the overall series and the last four at Koski. Denver won three-straight from 2015-17 that included two games in Georgia at the Cobb County Classic.
Last Meeting vs. Duke
Denver raced out to an 8-4 lead in the opening 30 minutes, but Duke scored eight of the last nine goals to take a 12-10 victory last February at Koskinen Stadium. Four different Pioneers finished with multiple goals, including a three-point night for Sillstrop.

Denver returns home next week for its only two-game weekend of the regular season. The Pioneers will open the Peter Barton weekend against [RV/15] Jacksonville Saturday (Feb. 26) at 12 p.m. MT, before the Pioneers turn around to host Canisius the following day at 11 a.m. MT.
