Denver posted a 196.850 to top Big 12 Conference opponent Iowa State at home on February 13, earning the season's second highest scores on bars (49.375) and beam (49.425). Sophomore
Jessica Hutchinson won her second straight all-around title with a career-best 39.625 and added a second personal best on beam (9.950).

EYE ON THE RANKINGS:
DU is ranked No. 12 in the Road to Nationals rankings for the second week in a row and holds top-10 rankings on bars and beam. The team is also ranked No. 12 on vault and No. 20 on floor.

Hutchinson improved her individual national rankings following her February 13 performance, now sitting in a tie for No. 4 in the country on beam, a tie for No. 10 on floor and at No. 13 in the all-around.

QUICK HITS:
- Hutchinson earned Big 12 Gymnast of the Week honors for the first time in her career following her February 13 meet during which she set or tied season highs on all four events and in the all-around.
- DU shuffled lineups once again last week, bringing back juniors Callie Schlottman and Emma Brown to the beam and floor lineups, respectively. Sophomore Rosie Casali also made her season debut on floor.
- Adding to DU's depth were exhibition routines from freshman Mia Hebinck on bars and graduate student Mia Sundstrom on beam.
- So far in 2022, 13 of DU's 14 student-athletes have competed in at least three meets.
- Saturday's Metroplex Challenge is the first of two scheduled podium meets this year, joining the Big 12 Championship in Denver on March 19.
SCOUTING THE SOONERS:
Oklahoma scored a 197.425 win over George Washington on February 11 with Ragan Smith scoring her second straight 10.0 on beam. Audrey Davis took home the all-around title with a 39.625 to be one of six Sooner gymnasts to win an event title.

SCOUTING THE CARDINAL:
Stanford upset UCLA on February 12 for the Cardinal's first win over the Bruins since 2016. Kyla Bryant's 9.975 on floor clinched her all-around win with a 39.575 and helped lead Stanford to a season-high team total of 196.900.

SCOUTING THE HUSKIES:
Washington scored a 194.450 at Oregon State on February 13 with Geneva Thompson winning the vault title with a 9.925. Teammates Skylar Killough-Wilhlem, Deiah Moody and Amara Cunningham each finished in the top three on at least one event.

Denver returns home on Sunday, February 27, for a competition of Colorado's NCAA teams when Air Force comes to Magness Arena.
