SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The University of Denver men's and women's swim and dive teams were recognized for their dominance at the Summit League Championships this past weekend in Fargo. The Pioneers had 33 men and women earn All-Summit League status by the league in a release on Monday.
All-Summit League teams recognize the top three times in each event and the top three diving scores at the Championship. Also acknowledged are the swimming championship MVPs, diving championship MVPs, newcomers of the championship, swimming coaches of the year and diving coaches of the year. Swimming and Diving Coach of the Year awards were voted on by the leagues head coaches at the conclusion of the championship meet.
DU is coming sweeping the team titles at the Hulbert Aquatic Center. The women's side has now won the title for a ninth consecutive year, while the men pick up their eighth league title.
