DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis team (1-3) dropped a 4-2 match to Oregon (3-2) on Sunday morning at the Denver Tennis Park.
 
Doubles:
Oregon grabbed the doubles point to take the early 1-0 lead. After securing the third court, the Ducks won the No. 1 court in an 8-6 breaker to give the visitors the point. Anna Riedmiller and Taylor Melville were in a tiebreaker of their own on court two, but the match went unfinished.
 
Singles:
Oregon made it 2-0 with a straight-set victory on court five before Tatum Burger secured the first point for Denver, winning her match in straight-sets 6-2, 6-1. Burger improved to 2-0 on the season on court six for the Pioneers.
 
Andrea Burguete Beltran made it two-straight wins on the weekend with her straight-set win on court four. The Denver freshman won her match 6-1, 6-3 to improve to 2-1 on the season.
 
Oregon got back in-front with a straight-set win on court three and then clinched the match 4-2 with a straight-set win on court one.

Denver will be home again on Friday against No. 25 Baylor at 12 p.m. MT at the Denver Tennis Park.
