[20/19] Denver Heads to [8/9] North Carolina Saturday

The Pioneers look to build off Sunday’s win at Peter Barton

DENVER – The [20/19] University of Denver men's lacrosse program, presented by Your Hometown Toyota Stores, will head to the state of North Carolina for the second time in three weekends when the Pioneers take on UNC Saturday at 12 p.m. ET/10 a.m. MT.

Denver had a school-record 15 different goal scorers in a 20-9 win over Canisius on Sunday at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium. Denver got hat tricks from JJ Sillstrop and Noah Manning in the win. FULL RECAP
 
DI Series History vs. North Carolina
Denver is 7-12 in its Division I history against the Tar Heels, including 4-7 in Chapel Hill. The Pioneers  have won six of the last 10 meetings, including three of the last four in Chapel Hill. Denver opened Dorrance Field in 2019, taking the match-up 12-10.

Denver returns to Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium on Sunday when the Pioneers welcome [12/13] Yale on Sunday, March 13. Faceoff is set for 11 a.m. MT, and the game will be broadcast on Pioneer Vision and ESPN Denver 1600.
