[17/17] Denver and [3/3] Georgetown Open BIG EAST Slate at Barton

The Pioneers and Hoyas have combined to win every BIG EAST trophy since 2018

DENVER – The [17/17] University of Denver men's lacrosse program, presented by Your Hometown Toyota Stores, will open the 2022 BIG EAST Conference slate by hosting [3/3] Georgetown on Saturday at 12 p.m. MT at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium.

Last Time Out
For the second-consecutive game, the Pioneers dug themselves a four-goal deficit, but for the second game running, used a second-half comeback, this time to defeat Towson 12-9 last Saturday at Peter Barton. BIG EAST Midfielder of the Week had a sock trick in the victory, his first six-goal performance since February, 2020 at Duke. FULL RECAP
 
DI Series History vs. Georgetown
The Pioneers are 8-4 all-time against the Hoyas, winning four of the five previous meetings at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium. Denver won the first six meetings, and the Hoyas have grabbed four of the last six. Georgetown's previous win at Peter Barton came in the 2019 BIG EAST Final.

Denver will head to Villanova next weekend to take on the Wildcats on April 9 at 11 a.m. MT.
