DENVER – The No. 9 University of Denver women's lacrosse team will begin its defense of its 2021 Big East regular season and tournament titles this weekend when the Pioneers travel to Indianapolis to take on Butler on Saturday at 12 p.m. ET/10 a.m. MT.

Denver got a well-rounded offensive attack that took it past San Diego State, 19-11, on Sunday to cap a 2-0 Southern California weekend for the Pioneers.
