EL MACERO, CALIF. – The University of Denver men's golf team closed out day two of the El Macero Classic on Thursday. The Pioneers fired a team score 300 (12-over) for the round, dropping to eighth after two days of play at the tournament.

- Long Beach State still holds the team lead at 8-under, one shot over the field.
- On the individual leader board, Long Beach State's Tyler Schafer and UC Davis' Thomas Hutchinson sit atop the individual leader board at 7-under.
Inside the Round for the Pioneers:

Jun Ho Won kept his good play going, finishing tied for at 3-under through 36 holes.

Esteban Missura dropped 20 spots to close out the afternoon tied for 23rd at 1-over.

John Sand tied for 33rd at 3-over through two rounds.

Jackson Solem wrapped up the day tied for 67
th with fellow teammate
Carson Griggs.

Alex Gibalevich, competing as an individual, tied for 84th.
