NEWTON, Kan.  – The University of Denver men's golf team held off a charging North Dakota State team on Tuesday to claim its third straight Summit League Championship. The Pioneers posted a 54-hole total of 850 (14-under).  

Tournament & Course Info:
- Sand Creek Station Golf Course
- Par 72
- 7,086 yards
- 10 teams

Significant Stats:
- The Pioneers have now won the last three league championships, the longest streak since Western Illinois won three straight from 2006-08.
- Denver's score of 850 is the second-lowest 54-hole total in Summit League Championship history.  
- On the individual leader board, the Bison's Nate Deziel took home individual medalist honors at 13-under, a five-stroke win over the field.

Inside the Round for the Pioneers:
- Carson Griggs tied his best finish of the year, taking second with a three-round total 208 (8-under). The 208 was his second lowest 54-hole total of the season.
- Jackson Solem turned in his highest finish of the season, taking fourth at 3-under for the three-day event.
- Jun Ho Won and John Sand each earned top-10 finishes by tying for sixth at 1-under.
- Esteban Missura finished up his tournament tied for 19th.
