DENVER, CO --The Denver volleyball team totaled 11 blocks on the way to a three-set victory (25-21, 25-15, 25-19) over the Portland Pilots Thursday at home at Hamilton Gymnasium.
The non-conference win improved Denver's overall record to 1-3 on the season.
MacKenzie Fidelak finished with 11 kills on the day to lead the Pioneers attack while finishing with a hitting percentage of .368. got 11 digs from Gianna Bartalo along with eight blocks from Brianna Green to lead them defensively.
