DENVER, CO --The Denver volleyball team racked up 12 blocks en route to a three-set victory (28-26, 25-16, 25-22) against the UCSD Tritons Saturday at home at Hamilton Gymnasium.
The out-of-conference victory boosted the Pioneers' overall record to 6-5 on the season.
The Pioneers attack was paced by Hailey Green, who finished with 14 kills on the day while accumulating a hitting percentage of .333, and by Memphis Glasgow, who had 14 while hitting .3. got 11 digs from Gianna Bartalo along with nine blocks from Brianna Green and five rejections from Jordan Lockwood to lead them defensively.
