After dropping the first doubles match, DU's No. 2 team of junior

Singles:
DU started hot in singles, only dropping a combined eight games on the first three courts. Sancho Arbizu kicked it off on the No. 2 court with a bagel in his first set and lost only one game in his second set to give Denver its first point of the day. Juniors

Graduate student
Conner Olsen clinched the match for Denver with a three-set victory in No. 5 singles. After winning the first set in a tiebreak, he rallied back from a second-set loss to easily take the third set 6-1.
Fellow graduate student
Mitch Johnson, too, won in three sets, rallying back after dropping the first set in a tiebreak to win both the second and third sets – including saving four match points to force the deciding third-set tiebreak, which he won 7-0.
