DENVER – The University of Denver women's basketball program will return to the road for the first time since January 14 at North Dakota, when the Pioneers travel to head coach
Doshia Woods' alma mater to take on Western Illinois on Thursday at 6 p.m. CT/5 p.m. MT.

SERIES HISTORY:
Western Illinois has a 15-5 edge in the series, but Denver has taken each of the last two meetings in Hamilton Gymnasium, including a 70-58 win earlier this month. The Leathernecks have won all 10 meetings in Macomb.
LAST TIME OUT – Denver 69, Kansas City 60v
Denver knocked down its first seven three-point attempts of the afternoon and were led by a career-high 21 points from freshman
Madelyn Atkins, as the Pioneers got back in the win column with a 69-60 win over Kansas City on Saturday. Denver had four players finish in double figures for the second-straight contest.
Mikayla Brandon finished with a double-double in the victory.
Denver knocked down seven-straight threes to start a game for the first time since at least the start 2001-02 season. The Pioneers knocked down six threes to start a game in an 101-75 victory over Utah Valley on January 8, 2008.
