RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The University of Denver men's swimming and diving program closed out a two-day meet by completing dual wins Cal Baptist, Grand Canyon and Seattle on Saturday afternoon at the Lancer Aquatics Center.

Zyad Morsy opened the final day of the meet with a third-place finish (second in dual scoring) in the men's 1-meter dive, accumulating 287.35 points in his dives.
In the first swimming event of the afternoon, Denver earned a win in the men's 400 medley relay.
Liam Simmons, Alex Lynch, Brandon Chapman and
Frank Tirone combined for a time of 3:21.19 in the race.
Similar to Friday's distance race, Denver took spots 2-5 in the men's 1000 free on Saturday.
Connor Hughes led the Denver quartet with a second-place finish, reaching the final wall in 9:37.86.
Kieran Watson rounded out the podium places with a 9:39.32,
Joseph Purdy finished fourth in 9:39.99 and
Joseph Hancock clocked in at 9:42.32 to take fifth.
Marco Nosack got Denver back in the win column with a 1:52.80 in the men's 200 IM.
The Pioneers grabbed spots 2-4 in the freestyle sprint on Saturday.
Donat Fabian and Tirone led Denver in the 50 free with matching times of 20.77 to take second and
Luke Milburn took fourth with a 21.22.
In the 200 fly,
Dylan Wright earned a second-place finish with his 1:50.85 and
Brandon Chapman reached the final wall in 1:51.99 to take fourth.
Simmons won the men's 100 back with a 50.63 to earn his second and Denver's third win of the afternoon.
Lynch finished second (56.42) and Fabian finished fourth (57.39) to give Denver two of the top four spots in the 100 breast.
In the final individual race of the weekend,
Tommy Hancock finished second in the 200 free in 1:41.18, while Watson's 1:41.49 was good enough for fourth.
Denver closed out the weekend meet with a first-place time in the men's 200 free relay. Tirone, Fabian,
Nikola Tadic and Milburn combined for a time of 1:22.19 to take the top spot.
UP NEXT: Denver returns to the state of Colorado for a single meet next weekend when the Pioneers take the trip south on I-25 to the Air Force Academy. The meet is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. MT.
