HOUSTON – The University of Denver women's swimming and diving program got a pair of wins from upperclassmen in the third and final session of the 2023 Rice Fall Splash Invitational at the Rice Competition Pool.

Women's 50 Free –
Erika Remington – 23.84
Women's 200 Free –
Ines Marin – 1:51.23
Erika Remington got the Pioneers in the win column in the third and final session of the weekend, continuing her impressive sprint weekend in Houston with a 23.84 in the 50 free.
Megan Lucyshyn also earned a fourth-place finish in the race in 24.28.
Ali Beay picked up another podium in the women's 100 back on Saturday afternoon, clocking in at 56.61 to take second.
A second win in as many sessions for
Ines Marin saw the senior complete the women's 200 free in 1:51.23.
Lilly Zippel completed her IM weekend with her third podium in as many races, this time swimming the 100 IM in 58.07 to finish second.
Saturday's meet concluded with the women's 400 free relay. Denver's A-Relay took third in the final race, completing the event in 3:31.30 courtesy of swims from Marin, Lucyshyn,
Kali Metuzals and Remington.
UP NEXT: Denver returns to the state of Colorado for a single meet next weekend when the Pioneers take the trip south on I-25 to the Air Force Academy. The meet is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. MT.
