DENVER – The University of Denver women's soccer team will welcome four future student-athletes for the 2024-25 season, head coach
Julianne Sitch announced on Friday.
Grace Dreiling, Rowan LaPiano, Ella Moody and Megan Murray all signed their National Letters of Intent to attend the University of Denver beginning in the fall of 2024.
Grace Dreiling is a midfielder from Centennial, Colorado. During her club career with Real Colorado, she has held national and regional midfielder rankings from Top Drawer Soccer and was named to the regional ODP player pools from 2017-19. In 2018, she helped her team to the Colorado State Cup championship and has played in multiple high-level national tournaments. She is the sister of current Denver women's soccer midfielder, junior
Samantha Dreiling.
Rowan LaPiano is midfielder/forward from Parker, Colorado. In 2023, she earned ECNL Northwest Division all-conference honors with Real Colorado while also collecting all-state honors following her high school season with Chaparral High School. A high school team captain in 2002 and 2023, she has also won all-conference first-team honors each year since 2021 and was second in assists in her conference in 2023. She has been a member of the U.S. Youth Futsal National Team and was a 2021 ODP regional travel team selection.
Ella Moody is a midfielder from Windsor, Colorado. The 2022 4A High School Player of the Year, she has racked up first-team all-state and all-conference honors in each of the last two high school seasons, playing with Windsor High School. With her club team – Colorado Rapids ECNL 05 – she also added first-team all-conference honors in the ECNL Northwest Division in 2022 and 2023, and helped qualify her team for the WPSL playoffs in both seasons.
Megan Murray is a forward from Glenview, Illinois. From 2020-23, she has been rated as the top forward in the state of Illinois and the No. 2 forward in the Midwest region, according to Top Drawer Soccer. In 2021 and 2022, she led her club team, FC United, in goals and assists, and helped the team qualify for the Girls Academy National playoffs. The four signees will join a Denver women's soccer program that won its sixth-consecutive Summit League regular-season title and its eighth overall in 2023.
