Denver will welcome five Power-5 teams to Magness Arena in 2024, highlighted by a January 21 showdown against two-time reigning NCAA Champion Oklahoma, seven-time NCAA Champion UCLA and seven-time Super Six qualifier Stanford.
In its home opener, Denver will host Arizona State, which finished the 2023 season ranked No. 15 in the country and will join DU in the Big 12 Conference beginning with the 2025 season. Current Big 12 Conference opponent Iowa State will travel to Denver on February 11 as well.
Nine of Denver's 11 regular-season meets will feature teams from Power 5 conferences. All four of DU's fellow Big 12 Conference opponents appear on the schedule including BYU, which is in its inaugural season as a member of the Big 12.
DU will make trips to Big 12 opponents Oklahoma and West Virginia while returning to Michigan for the second year in a row. Denver will also compete at Missouri in March, marking DU's first trip to the SEC in the regular season since 2020.
In total, six of Denver's 2024 opponents finished ranked inside the top 25 at the end of the 2023 season, and nine qualified for NCAA Regionals.
Season tickets for the 2024 Denver Gymnastics season are now on sale and include admission to all five of DU's regular-season home meets.
Fans can get their first look at the 2024 Denver squad at the team's annual Crimson & Gold Intrasquad, slated for Wednesday, December 20, at 7 p.m. MT in Magness Arena. Admission is free.
Denver is coming off a record-setting 2023 campaign in which the team won its second NCAA Regional Championship and advanced to the NCAA National Semifinals for the sixth time in program history. Among those returning to the Denver roster are three postseason WCGA All-Americans from last season in seniors
Jessica Hutchinson and
Rosie Casali, and sophomore
Kiley Rorich, as well as 2023 Big 12 vault co-champion, senior
