DENVER – The University of Denver men's tennis team returns to the road after a three-match weekend in Denver, traveling to No. 57-ranked Utah on Saturday, February 25, at 12 p.m. MT.
Last Time Out:
DU went 3-0 on the weekend after hosting three matches in three days, topping Metropolitan State and Utah State on February 17 and then adding a win against Idaho on February 19. In total, Denver dropped just two points through the weekend.
Four of DU's singles players went undefeated including junior
Nicolas Herrero Cuesta, who was named the Summit League Peak Performer of the Week after winning all six of his combined singles and doubles matches.
Series History:
Denver holds an 8-12 all-time record against Utah with the last three matches coming down to narrow 4-3 wins. Utah claimed the most recent win in Denver on January 21, 2022, but DU won the previous two matches – most recently in Salt Lake City on February 21, 2021.
Up Next:
DU travels to southern California for two matches, first at Loyola Marymount on March 3 before playing Boise State in a neutral-site match on March 4. Both matches are set for 11 a.m. PT/1 p.m. MT starts.
