DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis team (5-2) maintained its No. 39 national ranking in the latest ITA Computerized Rankings sponsored by Tennis-Point, released on Tuesday.
DU entered the ITA rankings for the first time in 2023 with its No. 39 ranking in the February 21 poll.
Denver swept Montana State at home on February 24, winning all three doubles matches with identical scores of 6-1 and then adding straight-sets victories in all five contested singles matches after MSU was unable to provide a sixth singles player.
Singles and doubles rankings will be released again on March 7. In the most recent singles rankings released on February 21, fifth-year student
Taylor Melville was sitting at No. 86 in the nation.
DU is in the middle of a five-match home stand and hosts Wyoming on Wednesday, March 1, at 12 p.m. at Denver Tennis Park before playing its first two Summit League matches of the season against Omaha and St. Thomas on March 4-5.
