Denver Looks to Stretch Winning Streak to Three with Trip to St. Thomas

The Pioneers will wrap-up their penultimate road swing of the regular season with their second ever trip to St. Paul

DENVER  – The University of Denver women's basketball program will look to make it three wins in a row on Saturday when the Pioneers travel to St. Thomas. Tip is set for 1 p.m. CT/12 p.m. MT.

What: Game 24 of the 2022-23 season
Where: Schoenecker Arena (St. Paul, Minn.)
When: Saturday, February 4, 2023 – 1 p.m. CT/12 p.m. MT

SERIES HISTORY:
Denver has won the last two meetings to take a 2-1 lead in the series against St. Thomas. The Tommies won the only previous meeting in St. Paul, by a count of 56-48 in December of 2021. Ally Haar led the way with 15 points for the Pioneers in the first meeting this season, a 66-60 win for Denver.
 
LAST TIME OUT – Denver 72, Western Illinois 61
Denver canned 12 triples and freshman guard Emma Smith finished one point off her career high with 23 to go with seven rebounds, four assists and two steals in Denver's 11-point win at Western Illinois. The victory was Denver's first in Macomb in the program's history. Ally Haar added 17 points and five assists, and Makayla Minett added seven points, nine  rebounds and five blocks.
