DENVER – The No. 67-ranked University of Denver men's tennis team (9-7) will host No. 61 Drake in its first Summit League match of the season on Sunday, April 2.
The match is part of a Denver Tennis doubleheader and will immediately follow the women's match against South Dakota. The women are set to play at 9:30 a.m., and the men are tentatively slated for a 12:30 start.
Last Time Out:
Denver closed its non-conference schedule with a 4-2 win over New Mexico at home on March 25. DU won the top three singles matches before junior
Charlie Miller clinched the DU win in No. 6 singles.
Series History:
DU is 12-9 all-time against Drake, and the last five matches have all come down to a 4-3 decision. The teams most recently met in the 2022 Summit League Final with Drake coming out on top. DU had won the previous two meetings including the most recent meeting in Denver on April 10, 2021.
