Denver Women’s Basketball Signs Alaisha Brown to 2023-24 Roster

The shooting guard signed her National Letter of Intent to join the Pioneers next season

DENVER  – The University of Denver women's basketball program has signed shooting guard Alaisha Brown (Arlington, Texas) to a National Letter of Intent to join the Pioneers beginning in the 2023-24 season, head coach Doshia Woods announced on Wednesday.
 
Brown was an all-region selection and earned first team all-district honors in her time with James Bowie High School. The Detroit native reached the 1,000 career points milestone during her senior year.
 
"We are extremely excited to add Alaisha to our Pioneer family," Woods said. "She's a combo guard who has ability to play multiple positions and can score in various ways. Our staff is looking forward to her joining our program."
 
Brown joins Reagan Pahl, who signed her National Letter of Intent in the early period on November 16.

BEFORE DENVER:
TABC All-Region and First Team All-District honors…Also earned All-Academic honors…In her senior year, reached 1000 career points and was named her high school's student-athlete of the month…Named the DFW Player of the Week.
 
PERSONAL:
Daughter of Rob and LaShawn…Sister to Ty, Tre, Blake and Reign…Played for the club team Swift Kidz…Also recruited for Central Michigan and Buffalo…Chose the University of Denver because of the benefits of the coaches, the atmosphere and feels like she'll have the opportunity to better herself as a person…Hopes to make an impact with everything she takes part in while at DU.
