DENVER – University of Denver men's golf head coach
Logan Goulding has submitted his resignation to pursue an opportunity to caddy full-time on the PGA Tour, Vice Chancellor for Athletics and Ritchie Center Operations
Josh Berlo announced on Thursday.
"On behalf of the University of Denver, we'd like to thank Logan for his leadership of our men's golf program over the past two seasons and for his commitment to the student-athletes," Berlo said. "We wish him nothing but the best in pursuing this dream on the sport's biggest stage."
The 2022 Summit League Coach of the Year guided the Pioneers to a league championship in his first season and coached two All-Summit League First Team honorees and a Summit League Second Team selection during his tenure. Goulding's immediate impact extended into the NCAA Regionals, putting the Pioneers in a good position to advance to the NCAA Championships for the first time since 1960 before narrowly missing the cut in seventh place.
"It has been an honor and privilege to work at the University of Denver," Goulding said. "I want to thank my players and all those I've come in contact with in my career. Denver is a first-class University from top to bottom, and it will always be a special place for my family. I look forward to following their success in the future."
In his final season with the program in 2023, the Pioneers finished runner-up at the league championship.
Denver will immediately begin a national search for its next men's golf head coach.
