SAN DIEGO – A trio of #ProPios in
Trevor Baptiste, Danny Logan and
TD Ierlan led the United States team to its second-straight gold medal at the 2023 World Lacrosse Championship last weekend in San Diego, California.
Team USA beat Canada 10-7 in the final on Saturday evening. Baptiste went 10-for-18 with five ground balls and a caused turnover. Ierlan went 3-for-3 at the stripe with a ground ball and Logan capped a locked-down tournament with a ground ball in the final.
In the seven-game tournament, Baptiste finished 59-for-79 (.747), while picking up 35 ground balls and providing two assists off draws. Ierlan went 53-of-61 (.869) with 25 ground balls and a goal. Logan had nine ground balls and five caused turnovers on the defensive end.

Casey Wilson played in six of Canada's seven games and picked up a ground ball while forcing two turnovers.
Wes Berg tallied five points in the tournament on three goals and two helpers.
In eight games with Haudenosaunee, who won bronze with an 11-6 win over Australia,
Zach Miller had three goals and three assists, while
Brendan Bomberry had four goals and two assists in seven of the eight games.
