DENVER – University of Denver Skiing announced today that the team has added five student-athletes to its Nordic squad for the upcoming 2024 winter season.

Henriette Saeterdal Semb (Asker, Norway) from Michigan Tech, as well as incoming student-athletes
Anna Espeli (Geilo, Norway),
Florian Knopf (Bernau am Chiemsee, Germany),
Maja Moland (Andebu, Norway) and
Krystof Zatloukal (Karlovy Vary, Czechia).

Earned All-Region honors in both the 5K classic and 15K freestyle … Won the 15K mass start freestyle at the NCAA Central Regional and placed first in the 5K classic at the CCSA MTU Invite & GLD CXC Cup … Had a runner-up finishes in the 5K classic in both the NCAA Central Regional and CCSA Championships … Placed second in the 10K freestyle at both the CCSA MTU Invite/GLD CXC Cup and CCSA Mt. Itasca CXC Cup … Placed fourth in the 15K freestyle at the CCSA Championships … Came in 14th in the 15K freestyle and was 23rd in the 5K classic at the NCAA Championships … Placed 16th overall and third collegiately in the 5K freestyle at the Duluth SuperTour … Was 19th overall in both the 15K freestyle and 10K classic (ninth collegiately) at the Gitchi Gami Games … Placed 26th overall and ninth collegiately in the 20k skate at the U.S. Cross Country National Championships … Came in 28th overall and 12th collegiately in the interval start classic at the U.S. National Championships.
