University of Denver Skiing announced today that the team has added three student-athletes to its alpine squad for the upcoming 2026 winter season.

Before Denver: Raced for the last 13 years with the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club … Placed in the top 30 in both giant slalom and slalom at the 2025 U.S. Alpine National Championships in Vail … Raced in the 2025 Austrian Jr. Nationals, placing 17th overall in giant slalom and winning the U18 event … Was 19th overall and second among U18s in slalom at the Austrian Jr. Nationals … Came in 14th in super G at the 2024 U.S. National Junior Championships in Jackson Hole, Wyoming … Competed at the 2024 Colorado Invitational in Steamboat Springs as a non-college invitee … Came in third in slalom in the Colorado Devo Ski Cup FIS race on Dec. 17, 2024.
Personal: Graduated from Steamboat Springs High School in 2025 … Has two brothers, including a twin … His aunt, Heidi Bose, skied for New Mexico before competing on the World Cup for 12 years … Enjoys bow hunting, spearfishing and sailing … Wants to compete at the NCAA Championships and make the U.S. Ski Team before going on to compete on the Europa Cup and World Cup circuits … Favorite movies and TV shows include Spaceballs, Seinfeld and Mob Land … Has volunteered coaching U10 skiers in the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club … Used to compete in Nordic Combined as a kid and also raced BMX bikes … Made National Honor Society all four years at Steamboat Springs High School.

DU has also been a dream of mine since I was a freshman in high school, and I'm extremely honored to represent them through the sport of skiing. Before Denver: Previously raced for Ski Quebec Alpine and Northwood School … Won the 2024 Canadian National Championship in slalom and placed fourth in giant slalom … Recognized as the Ski Quebec Alpine's rising star in 2024 … Placed 26th in giant slalom in the 2025 Nor-Am Cup race in Lake Louise, Alberta … Came in 11th in slalom at the Nor-Am Cup slalom at Panorama, British Columbia, in December 2024 … Placed 14th in slalom at the 2024 Nor-Am Cup in Devils Glen, Ontario.
Personal: Graduated from Northwood School in 2024 … Intends to major in international studies at DU … After her skiing career, would like to go to law school and work in international or humanitarian law … Enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors, and hobbies include running, biking and hiking … Favorite TV show is Grey's Anatomy … Also competed in figure skating, lacrosse, soccer, volleyball and road biking … Earned the Northwood School's Linda Friendlander Award for outstanding effort in academics and women's sports and was inducted into Cum Laude Society in 2024.

Before Denver: Previously competed with Sci Club Courmayeur Monte Bianco ASD (local) and ASIVA (regional) clubs … Registered 39 total podiums and 15 wins in FIS races from 2021-2025 (slalom, giant slalom and super G) … Finished third overall during the 2024-25 season in the Italian Grand Prix technical disciplines (slalom, giant slalom) … Earned a fifth-place finish in slalom at the Latvian National Championships and third in slalom at the Estonian National Championships during the Baltic Cup in Pozza di Fassa, Italy, on March 20-21, 2025 … Placed 10th in slalom and 11th in giant slalom at the 2025 Italian Junior National Championship … Raced in slalom at Europa Cup races at the Valle Aurina-Ahrntal in December 2024 … Represented Italy at the FISU Winter World University Games in January 2024 in Bardonecchia, Italy, coming in 15th in slalom and 20th in giant slalom … Came in seventh in slalom and eighth in GS at the 2022 Italian Jr. Nationals and was 11th in slalom and eighth in giant slalom at the 2021 event.

After skiing all over Europe, I thought that skiing in Colorado would be a great opportunity to see new places, ski on different snow and live in a new and supportive environment.
