DENVER– The University of Denver men's lacrosse program had eight former players in action Seattle last weekend for the second-to-last weekend of the 2023 Premier Lacrosse League regular season.
Wes Berg highlighted the #ProPios performances with an OT one-timer just outside the crease to send the Redwoods past Chrome.
TD Ierlan had a solid performance at the stripe, going 17-for-22 with 12GBs.
Trevor Baptiste had another big day against the Cannons prevent, going 27-for-28 with 27 ground balls.
Jack Hannah had a two-point goal in the first quarter and Hannah and
Ethan Walker combined for seven points in the Waterdogs five-point win over Chaos.
Following play last weekend,
Jackson Morrill was traded from Chrome to the Whipsnakes before the deadline, joining former Pioneer teammate
Colin Squires. Denver now has at least two former players on four different teams in the PLL.
