DENVER– The University of Denver men's lacrosse program's #ProPios opened up the 2023 PLL Playoffs on Monday at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.

Wes Berg, who had a sock trick in Denver's '15 NCAA Quarterfinal win against Ohio State at Empower Field at Mile High, had another sock trick in the quarterfinal stage this year, this time in the PLL playoffs. Berg scored seven goals on Monday, putting nine of his 12 shots on cage.
Ethan Walker had three assists and
Jack Hannah had two points in the Waterdogs three-goal win in the middle game on Monday.
Trevor Baptiste went 33-for-34 and scored another goal off his 31-ground ball afternoon.
Earlier in the week, the PLL gave out its end of season awards. For the eighth time in eight seasons (four NCAA and four PLL),
Trevor Baptiste was named the top faceoff man.
Eric Law earned the PLL's Humanitarian Award.
