Last Time Out:
Denver began its 2024 dual campaign with two wins on the road, starting with a 5-2 victory over Western Michigan in a neutral-site match on January 27. DU took a 1-0 lead after doubles and held off WMU at 3-2 when senior Nicolas Herrero Cuesta saved three match points in a third set at No. 1 singles to clinch the DU win. Herrero Cuesta was named the Summit League Peak Performer of the Week, in part, because of his effort in the match.

DU backed the win over WMU up with a 4-3 victory at Purdue the following day, rallying from 0-2 and 2-3 deficits during the match. This time, it was junior Daniel Sancho Arbizu who came through late for the Pioneers at No. 2 singles, breaking in the final game of the third set to seal the win.

Series History:
Utah: Denver is 8-13 all-time against Utah, most recently playing to a 5-2 Ute win at Utah on February 25, 2023.
