DENVER – The University of Denver men's soccer program had six student-athletes ranked in Top Drawer Soccer's Midseason Top-100 players in the country, the publication announced on Thursday. Senior attacking midfielder Sam Bassett headlines the group, ranked No. 1 in the country by TDS.
The other five Pioneers featured are redshirt-junior centerback Trevor Wright, redshirt senior holding midfielder Ben Smith, redshirt junior outside back Ian Smith, junior goalkeeper Isaac Nehme and senior forward Oje Ofunrein. Denver is tied with North Carolina for the most players from a single program on the top-100 list.
