DENVER, CO -- The University of Denver volleyball team cruised to a three-set win (25-17, 25-15, 25-20) over the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles on Tuesday in Hamilton Gymnasium.
The win boosted the Pioneers' record to 9-9 overall and 4-4 in Summit play.
The Pioneers offense was paced by Ava Reynolds, who finished with 13 kills on the day while accumulating a hitting percentage of .286. Cassie Davis and Molly Mirabelli each added 11 as part of balanced Denver attack. DU got 10 digs from Emersen Werger to lead them defensively.

SET 2 | Denver built on a set-one win by securing a 25-15 victory in set two. The Pioneers took a 1-0 lead and never looked back in the set to secure the victory. Denver opened up as much as an 11 point lead at 14-3 before closing out the set. The Denver offense also got a boost from three aces in the stanza. Denver's front row had a solid defensive performance, blocking five Oral Roberts attacks in the stanza.
SET 3 | Denver then sealed the sweep with a victory in set number three. The Pioneers took the set 25-20 powered by a solid performance on the attacking side. Denver registered a .387 attack percentage with 16 kills in the set win. The Pioneers ended on a strong note, stretching their lead to its largest point in the set to finish out the stanza.
