BROOKINGS, SD --Ava Reynolds and Cassie Davis each secured double-doubles, but the Denver volleyball team was defeated by the South Dakota State Jackrabbits 3-1 (25-18, 25-27, 24-26, 18-25) Saturday at First Bank & Trust Arena.
The loss dropped Denver's record to 9-11 overall and 4-6 in Summit League play.
The Pioneers were led by double-doubles from both Reynolds, who had 14 kills and 15 digs, and Davis, who had 15 kills and 10 digs. Molly Mirabelli also added 13 kills to help the offense. On the defensive end, Alayna Finucan chipped in for with 21 digs to go with five blocks from Kate Perryman.
