NEWTON, Kan. – The University of Denver men's golf program shot a 3-over 291 and fell to fourth through 36 holes at the 2024 Grier Jones Shocker Invitational at Sand Creek Station Golf Course on Monday.

Denver enters Tuesday's final round eight shots off the lead. Incarnate Word's Ken-Marten Soo has control of the individual leaderboard at 7-under through two rounds.  

Willis Panzarello was the first Pioneer to shoot under par this week, keeping his scorecard mostly clean with two birdies and a bogey. Zander Grant rebounded from Sunday's round to fire an even-par 72.
