The Pioneers will take part in the CSUB Sprint Classic on Friday and the Roadrunner Invite on Saturday

DENVER – The University of Denver men's and women's swimming and diving programs will continue the opening month of their 2024-25 season this weekend with a pair of meets in Bakersfield, California. On Friday, the Pioneers will take part in the 2024 CSUB Sprint Classic before the 2024 Roadrunner Invite on Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT:

PEAK PERFORMERS OF THE WEEK:
Following the first meet weekend of the season, senior women's swimmer Jessica Maeda and senior men's diver Zyad Morsy earned Summit League Peak Performer of the Week honors. FULL RELEASE

SENIOR LED PROGRAMS
Denver's women's program is led by 10 seniors and graduate students Daniela Alfaro and Ines Marin, while the Pioneer men will be led by a group of 12 seniors in 2024-25.

UP NEXT:
The Pioneers will open their home calendar on Saturday, October 19, when Denver hosts Washington State and Air Force (Swimming 11 a.m./Diving 3:30 p.m.).
