DENVER - The University of Denver women's basketball team (0-2, 0-0 SL) will travel to North Carolina for a game against the High Point Panthers (2-2, 0-0 Big South) on Sunday. Tip is set for 10 a.m. MT in High Point, North Carolina.
SERIES HISTORY:
Sunday marks a program-first matchup between the Pioneers and the Panthers.
PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE
•The Pioneers fell to Saint Mary's College, 64-69, on Saturday, November 9th in Moraga, California.
•Denver women's basketball will take a program-first trip to North Carolina for a battle against the High Point University Panthers.
•The Pios will return home for a three-game homestand, starting with a matchup against Christian Brothers University on November 22nd.

Doshia Woods, the Pioneers have played the analytics game, finishing top-30 nationally in both three-pointers attempted and triples made per game.
• In 2023-24, Denver finished 10th in threes attempted (821/27.4), 29th in threes made per game (8.2) and 207th in three-point field goal percentage (30.1).
• The Pioneers made double-digit triples on nine different occasions during the 2023-24 campaign, including a season-high 16 vs. Stetson (12/9) and Oral Roberts (2/3).

JONES NAMED TO PRESEASON FIRST TEAM
• Junior guard
Jordan Jones was named to the Preseason All-Summit League First Team ahead of media day on October 8.
• Jones started all 30 games last season averaging 14.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per game last season.
• The Wyoming native is the first preseason first-team all-league selection under Woods.
