DU Men’s Tennis Set for Matches Against Idaho State, at Utah State

Denver hosts ISU on February 8, travels to USU on February 11

DENVER – The University of Denver men's tennis team (4-0, 0-0 Summit) will split its time at home and on the road with two matches between February 8-11.
 
DU will first host Idaho State on Thursday, February 8, at Denver Tennis Park before traveling to Utah State on Sunday, February 11. Both matches are slated for 12 p.m. MT starts.
 
Last Time Out:
Denver hosted its first two home duals of the season and came away with two wins. The Pioneers began with their first-ever sweep against Utah, collecting a 4-0 win on February 2. Two days later, DU hosted UTSA and clinched the win at 4-2 before playing out the final singles match and adding another point for a 5-2 final score.
 
Series History:
Idaho State: DU holds a 4-1 record against Idaho State including a 6-1 win in their most recent meeting on March 10, 2023, in Denver. Prior to last year's match, the teams had not played since 2005.
 
Utah State: Denver is 6-1 against Utah State in its Division I history following its 6-1 victory at home on February 17, 2023. DU last made the trip to USU on February 19, 2021, in another 6-1 win for Denver.

The University of Denver men's tennis team returns home for two more matches at Denver Tennis Park, hosting Boise State on Friday, February 16, at 5 p.m. MT and then welcoming LMU on Sunday, February 18, at 10:30 a.m. MT.
