No. 38 DU Men’s Tennis Heads to New Mexico on Sunday

Denver looks to continue unbeaten start to season with first of three-straight road matches

DENVER – The No. 38-ranked University of Denver men's tennis team (12-0, 0-0 Summit) begins a three-match road trip with a visit to New Mexico on Sunday, March 10.

DU will look to continue its unbeaten streak to begin the season while also extending its Division I-program-best 12-0 start.

Last Time Out:
Denver added two more wins at home, both 4-0 sweeps, against Montana and Wichita State on March 1-3. In both duals, the doubles point came down to a final court with Denver taking the win each time including against WSU after senior Charlie Miller filled in at the No. 1 slot at the last minute in his first doubles action of the season.

Miller captured Summit League Peak Performer of the Week honors for the first time in his career, adding two 6-1 6-0 wins in singles last weekend.

Series History:
New Mexico: Denver holds a 9-7 record against New Mexico. The teams have met in eight of the last 10 seasons including a 4-2 win at home for Denver last year on March 25. DU also won the most recent meetings at UNM by the same score on March 12, 2021.

Up Next:
The University of Denver men's tennis team plays on the road for the second of three-consecutive matches by traveling down I-25 to Air Force on Saturday, March 16.
