McPherson Named Tewaaraton Award Nominee

The graduate student defender is one of 25 student-athletes to be nominated for the most prestigious award in collegiate lacrosse.
DENVER – Graduate student defender Trinity McPherson has been named a nominee for the 2024 Tewaaraton Award, the foundation announced on Thursday.
McPherson ranks second on the Pioneers roster with 53 draw controls, is tied for first with 29 caused turnovers and leads Denver with 31 ground balls. The Johns Hopkins transfer tied for third most ground balls in a single season in 2023 with 61 and seventh with 39 caused turnovers.

Denver will travel to Philadelphia for its final road trip of the regular season to take on Villanova on Saturday and a neutral site matchup with [10] Yale at St. Joseph's University on Monday afternoon.
