DENVER – University of Denver senior goalie Malcolm Kleban has been named a USILA Scholar All-American, the coaches' association announced earlier this month.
 
Kleban is the first Pioneer to earn the award since Colin Squires, Danny Logan and Ethan Walker all won it after the 2021 campaign.
 
The Denver goalie earned Dean's list honor in both the fall and winter quarters in the latest academic year. The 2024 BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Year was a five-time BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week selection this season, guiding the Pioneers back to Championship Weekend with a 9.37 goals against average and a 50.5% save percentage.

The Premier Lacrosse League will make its third trip to Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium on the weekend of August 9-10. The hometown Denver Outlaws will play the first and fourth games of the weekend, and all five teams with #ProPios on initial 25-man rosters will feature.
Friday, August 9 – Maryland vs. Denver – 6 p.m. | Philadelphia vs. California – 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, August 10 – New York vs. Utah – 12:30 p.m. | Carolina vs. Denver – 5 p.m.
