Denver Deputy AD Lynn Coutts Named UMass Lowell Athletic Director

Coutts will take over the River Hawks athletic department after serving as an athletics administrator in the Mile High City since the start of the 2019-20 athletic season

LOWELL, Mass. – University of Denver Deputy Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Experience and Senior Women's Administrator Lynn Coutts has been named the new athletic director at UMass Lowell, the River Hawks announced in a press conference on Thursday.  

"I want to thank Lynn for her impact on our student-athletes and athletic department during her time at DU," Vice Chancellor for Athletics and Ritchie Center Operations Josh Berlo said. "Lynn's ability to foster relationships both internally and externally will serve her well in guiding the athletic department at Lowell. Lynn is a savvy administrator with a complimentary background in coaching and as a student-athlete. She has deep roots in the Northeast that will only help her settle in and hit the ground running as an impactful leader."
