DENVER – The University of Denver men's lacrosse program's #ProPios returned to action after the All-Star break last weekend with 10 former Pioneers making appearances in Fairfield, Connecticut.
 
After missing the opening five weeks of the season on the Atlas roster due to injury, Eric Law was picked up by the Denver Outlaws for the first time in the PLL, and the first time with the organization overall since the MLL days. The former Pioneer and Colorado native was originally drafted by the Outlaws in the MLL in 2013. Law had two goals in his return to the club, and he is scheduled to play twice at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium the weekend of August 9-10.
 
Alec Stathakis went 15-for-27 from the stripe in the two-goal loss to the Outlaws. Trevor Baptiste also had an effective day facing off, going 22-for-29 with 18 ground balls.
 
Wes Berg was Denver's only other multi-goal scorer last weekend, scoring ninth for California.
 
PLL Returns to Peter Barton August 9-10 - BUY TICKETS:
The Premier Lacrosse League will make its third trip to Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium on the weekend of August 9-10. The hometown Denver Outlaws will play the first and fourth games of the weekend, and all five teams with #ProPios on initial 25-man rosters will feature.

Saturday, August 10 – New York vs. Utah – 12:30 p.m. | Carolina vs. Denver – 5 p.m.
