To be eligible for WCGA Scholastic All-America honors, student-athletes must achieve a GPA of 3.50 or higher for the 2023-24 academic year or cumulative for their collegiate career.
Hutchinson, Mundell and Thompson earned the fourth WCGA Scholastic All-America nods of their careers. Hebinck and Iwai are now three-time honorees while Brusch, Cooley and
Ava Mabanta have now earned the award twice. Gallen,
Bella Mabanta, Rorich and Ulrich captured their first Scholastic All-America awards.
For the fourth year in a row, Denver had 12 student-athletes receive WCGA Scholastic All-America honors, matching the second-most in a single season in program history (behind only 2007's 13 award winners).
DU placed at least 80 percent of its roster on the Scholastic All-America list for the fourth year in a row. For 2023-24, the team tied for No. 21 nationally for highest percentage of the roster earning WCGA academic recognition and once again led the Big 12 Conference.
Denver finished the year with a team cumulative GPA of 3.6748, the top GPA in the Big 12 Conference for 2023-24 for a fifth-straight year. Among teams in the Big 12 for the upcoming 2024-25 season, Denver ranked second and behind only conference newcomer Arizona (3.7724). Overall, DU finished No. 27 nationally.
DU will return 11 of its 12 WCGA Scholastic All-Americans to the roster for 2024-25, losing only Hutchinson.
