Hannah and Logan Named to 2024 U.S. Men’s Box National Team

The World Lacrosse Box Championships will take place from September 20-29 in Utica, New York

DENVER – Former University of Denver men's lacrosse student-athletes Jack Hannah and Danny Logan have been named to the 2024 United States Men's Box Lacrosse National Team, USA Lacrosse announced on Wednesday.
 
The U.S. men have won the bronze medal at each of the previous five world championships, most recently in 2019.
 
Hannah, who has played two seasons for the Las Vegas Desert Dogs, has seen action in 36 NLL games, combining for 140 points on 62 goals and 78 assists. Last season, Hannah posted a career-best 76 points, scoring 29 times and providing 47 helpers. As a collegiate player, Hannah played for Ohio in the National Collegiate Box Series during the summers of his time with the Denver outdoor lacrosse program. As a Pio, Hannah was a three-time All-American, posting 155 points in 56 career games on 103 goals and 52 assists.
 
Logan has played in 27 career games for the San Diego Seals, putting up 15 points in transition on seven goals and eight assists. In his primarily defensive work, Logan has picked up 144 loose balls. A season ago, Logan added eight caused turnovers to his stat line to go with three blocks, 46 loose balls and just two penalty minutes. Logan also played in the NCBS in his time as a Pio in the Colorado Collegiate Box Lacrosse League. A three-time All-America pick in his own right, Logan played in 72 collegiate games, picking up 186 ground balls and forcing 50 turnovers, while putting up 37 points on 20 goals and 17 assists in transition.
