Denver Men’s Soccer Turns in Ninth-Straight Top-5 GPA Nationally

The Pioneers checked in at No. 5 in 2023-24
DENVER – The University of Denver men's soccer program finished in the top five nationally among Division I men's soccer programs in grade-point average for the ninth-consecutive year, according to data released by the United Soccer Coaches last week.
Denver combined for a 3.62 grade point average in the last academic year, checking in 0.12 behind national leaders UNC Greensboro and within 0.02 of the top-3 for the ninth-straight season.
Denver's Year-By-Year National GPA Rankings Since 2015-16:
2023-24: 5th – 3.62
2022-23: 3rd – 3.65
2021-22: 2nd – 3.64
2020-21: 1st – 3.77
2019-20: 1st – 3.74
2018-19: 2nd – 3.68
2017-18: 1st – 3.63
2016-17: 1st – 3.62
2015-16: 1st – 3.49
For the second-consecutive year, Denver was the only program in the country to have both of their teams in the top-5 nationally.
Jason Belloli was named to the College Sport Communicators Academic All-America First Team following last season, one of six Pioneers to earn the award across all 18 varsity sports a year ago.
