Alina Santos had a DU season-high eight saves on the night, the most by a Denver keeper since Nerea Arrazola also had eight in the first round of the 2021 NCAA tournament.

- DU finished with six non-conference wins on the season, the most since the 2013 season (9) and tied for the fifth most in DU's Division I history.

Kansas City closed its non-conference schedule with a 4-1 win over Northern Colorado at home on September 22 with a brace, an assist and the game winner from Adriana Benassi. She shares the team lead for goals scored (4) with Madison Page. Three different Roos have played in goal for Kansas City with Riley Moore leading the way with six matches played accounting for more than 528 minutes.
DU holds a 5-0-0 record against Kansas City including back-to-back shutouts in the last two meetings. Denver collected a 1-0 win at home last season on October 12, 2023, after posting a 2-0 victory the last time the teams met in Kansas City (October 23, 2022).
