Berg Helps Canada to Gold at World Box Lacrosse Championships

Wes Berg scored 11 goals and had 13 assists in the tournament, including 1-2-3 in the championship win over the United States

DENVER – 2015 NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player Wes Berg added another gold medal to his collection last weekend, helping Team Canada to gold in the 2024 World Box Lacrosse Championships in Utica, N.Y.
 
In the gold medal match against the United States, Berg chipped in a goal and two assists. All three of Berg's points came in the third quarter.
 
American and 2022 alum Jack Hannah was named to the 2024 World Box Lacrosse Championships All-Tournament Team, scoring 15 times to go with 10 assists in tournament. Berg finished with 24 points on 11 goals and 13 assists.
 
Hannah had two assists in the final, and Danny Logan also helped the United States to their first ever silver medal in the tournament.
