DENVER - The University of Denver volleyball team is set for a pair of matches against Montana State and the Citadel as a part of the University of Nebraska's Husker Invitational this weekend.
DENVER'S SCHEDULE AT NEBRASKA
Thursday vs. Montana State - 2:30 p.m. MT
Friday vs. The Citadel - 3:00 p.m. MT
SERIES HISTORY VS. MONTANA STATE
Denver is 1-3 in its Division I history against Montana State. The programs last met in Hamilton Gymnasium on Sept. 3, 2016 when the Pioneers defeated the Bobcats in straight sets.
SERIES HISTORY VS. THE CITADEL
The Pioneers own a 1-0 record against the Citadel. The lone match between the two teams came on Sept. 7, 2012 at a neutral site in Washington D.C. Denver earned the win, three sets to one.
THE PENDERGAST ERA
In her first season at the helm, Pendergast led the Pioneers to a 12-4 record in conference play, earning a share of the Summit League regular season title, the first since 2020. DU was a perfect 9-0 in Hamilton Gymnasium, Denver's first perfect record at home since the 2015 season (18-0). Five Pios earned All-Summit League honors including first team selection

Denver was picked second in the Summit League Preseason Poll, earning 51 points. Fifth year middle blocker
Molly Mirabelli and outside hitter
Cassie Davis were tabbed as "Players to Watch" by the conference.
